Only four weeks ago, the world’s largest offshore wind farm was opened in Kent, England.
The 100 turbines are spread over an area of 35 sq km and produce enough electricity to supply the equivalent of more than 200,000 homes a year. The turbines produce up to 300 megawatt power. However, before the turbines can do their job they need to be built. Some very large models are required in this process. Sounds interesting?
